The Masss star, Suriya’s next flick named as ‘24’, predominantly spoken as the remake of the Telugu film Manam depicts the triple role of the actor as grandfather, father and son. The Telugu version had Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in the roles, but as there is no such family hierarchy existent in Tamil industry, Suriya himself is taking up the triple role. Samantha plays the female interest and the same director Vikram Kumar will be directing this. Cinematography is taken care by P.S.Vinod of Aaranya Kaandam fame, Rajeevan for Production Designing and music tuned by A.R.Rahman. It is said that he has come up with never before music for Suriya. The actor in the name of 2D Entertainment will be producing the film. “Apart from an admirable role, Samantha will bring in a lot of laughter”, the director says. With half of the filming is over by now, the shooting for the movie began at Mumbai in the month of April. Sources also state the movie to be the sequel of the thriller Yaavarum Nalam, yet confirmation awaited and it is anticipated to join the Pongal race. Suriya who had done many dual roles seems to easily take up this triple role too.
