The cine industry is hot with the news of who would star in next venture by Mani Ratnam after the modern stunning story in O Kadhal Kanmani. Few days before we heard that the ace director would make a bilingual script in Tamil and Malayalam with Karthi and Mammootty starring in each of them respectively along with Aishwarya Rai. Later there were leaks that the movie will be made only in Tamil with Karthi and Dulquer sharing the screen space. But the current word is that the big M of Mollywood will take over as announced. Shruti dominates the female interest and P.C.Sreeram will be the cinematographer. Like other Mani Ratnam’s movies, A.R.Rahman will be composing music. Mammootty and Mani Ratnam were together in Thalapathi movie in 1991 and the hero opted out of Iruvar in 1997 after which he has not got a chance to rope in. To Karthi, it is a boon as it has been his dream to work under the veteran director right from his assistantship in Ayutha Ezhuthu. Meanwhile, O Kadhal Kanmani will be made in Hindi that will star Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt replacing Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon.
