Stated to have been impressed with the movie and knowing about the intense, pure love narration of Prem Kumar in ‘96’, Tollywood Producer Dil Raju has acquired the rights of ‘96’ which is officially announced by Vijay Sethupathi recently. Involving Nani for reprising the wildlife photographer role of Vijay Sethupathi in the genre of intense childhood romance, it is speculated that Dil Raju has asked for Samantha’s association to reprise the matured role of Trisha. Already working together on movies like in ‘Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu’ and ‘Naan Ee’, it is much expected that the team is yet to make Samantha accept for the remake and start the shooting from December. After the release of ‘96’in the direction of Prem Kumar and Govind Vasantha’s music, it is expected that ‘Naan Ee’ pair will be back on screens in the remake of ‘96’after getting finalized officially.
