Chekka Chivantha Vaanam which is been the talk of the town since the release of the songs last week. The movie has created a huge expectation since the moment of its announcement. Adding to the excitement many are astonished how the director of this movie Mani Ratnam could bring a huge star cast like Prakash Raj, Aravind Swamy, Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Rajesh Arun Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi and Simbu into the fold. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is jointly produced by Mani Ratnam and Lyca Productions. The team has decided to release the movie a day before the announced release date i.e., on September 27th. Continued with the release of Nayanthara’s ‘Imaikka Nodigal’ last month on a Thursday (August 30th), this month seems to have Maniratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam to follow the same, releasing on a Thursday. Further, it is stated that the team is yet to announce about the censor certification very soon. AR Rahman's songs 'Bhoomi Bhoomi' and Mazhai Kuruvi top the list in charts.
