Akira is a recent movie in progress for A.R.Murugadoss which has a female-centric concept. Sonakshi Sinha is the lead and Lakshmi Rai is having a special appearance. Through this movie, she will debut to Bollywood and she has even shared being proud of appearing in a Bollywood film with the veteran filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. Further, she says she has a pivotal role in the movie portraying a bold nature which she has not done before. Also she seems to have a unique role and doesn’t share the screen space with Sonakshi. The movie will be produced by Fox Star Studios and the story revolves about a social concept regarding the safety of women. The director is also proud of making an original thriller script in Hindi. Added to this, Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha will also be seen in the movie.
