Harikrishna Nandamuri

Following the paths of his father N T Rama Rao, Nandamuri Harikrishna has been an important face in Tollywood Cinema and politics. Acting in the movies since 1967 and continued as a producer, his works in Telugu movies ‘Ram Raheem’, ‘Daana Veera Soora Karna’, ‘Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo’and ‘Seetayya’ are the remarkable ones. Being an active member of the state's ruling Telugu Desam Party and a former parliamentarian, the 61-year old N Harikrishna has passed away in a car accident. Traveling to Nellore for a wedding in an SUV, the accident had happened around 6.30 am today in Nalgonda which is 100 km from Hyderabad. Thrown out from the car, Harikrishna has been taken to the nearest hospital such that he has passed away having no response to the treatment given. It is also stated that Harikrishna’s first son Nandamuri Janakiram passed away due to a road accident happened in 2014.
