It has been quite a week for actor Vijay’s fans with reports about the superstar reuniting with director Atlee for a third time doing the rounds. It must be noted the Atlee-Vijay combo has struck gold on both previous occasions starting with Theri in 2016. The two then followed it up once again with the blockbuster, Mersal, released last year. With reports now coming in stating Vijay and Atlee will be teaming up for a third time for Thalapathy 63 and this time under the AGS Entertainment banner, the excitement among fans has no doubt shot up. Meanwhile, it is said this upcoming project is indeed a go and that production will kickstart in early 2019 followed by a Diwali 2019 release. It must be noted Mersal came out as a Diwali release and went on reign at the top at the box office till the end of 2017. As of now, an official statement on Thalapathy 63 either from AGS Entertainment or Atlee is awaited, which we expect to be made in the days ahead.
