Director Gautham Vasudev Menon is busy right now filming simultaneously for Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta with Dhanush and Dhruva Natchathiram with Vikram. Under Gautham's production Ondraga Entertainment, he was supposed to start the Tamil remake of Tollywood super-hit romantic drama Pelli Choopulu. It was titled as Pon Ondru Kandaen. GVM’s former assistant Senthil Veerasamy was announced to direct while Vishnu Vishal and Tamanna was finalized to play as lead pair. But later, actor Vishnu Vishal backed off from the project saying he is unable to allot dates due to delay in production. Then the project could not take-off due to unknown reasons. But now, Gautham Menon has reportedly said that the project was paused as it was budgeted beyond the market value of the stars at that time. He also added that plans are on to restart the movie with fresh starcast soon.
