But lately, Cheran turned an actor and has also been received accolades from critics as an actor too. He established himself as a successful actor too. He played the hero in many films. Cheran's film will begin by end of this month. It is said that the National-Award winning actor Thambi Ramaiah’s son Umapathy, has been roped in as the protagonist in the film. It is believed that, The film would be a breezy entertainer set in the backdrop of a small town. Now, he is on a hunt for cast and crew is on. Cheran is also busy shooting for a film titled Rajavukku Check which is directed by Mazhai fame Raj Kumar. Interestingly, the film also has Thambi Ramaiah playing a crucial role.
