With an IMDb rating of 8.9 at its 25th day, we are sure to say that Kaaka Muttai has reached the minds of millions. Think Music had applauded as the feel good movie of the decade. It is because of the slow but thoughtful drama given by the boys. The movie has many layers of understanding about the happenings around the practical world. Its surface simply portrays the naughtiness of two kids but underneath lies the class division in the society and the shades of slum poverty. The two kids had been undeniably acted so good depicting the desired character for the story. Though being underprivileged to most of the basic needs in their life, they have learnt how to be contented with it. Actor Karan Johar, director Shankar, director Vasantha Balan has all praised the movie makers for giving such a beautiful story in 109 minutes which made them move their minds and portrayed the reality. It is indeed a ‘small film with huge heart’.
