Kamal Haasan's much awaited Vishwaroopam 2 is confirmed for release 10 August. Directed by Kamal Haasan himself and produced by Aascar Films and Raaj Kamal International, the film is a sequel to the 2013 blockbuster Vishwaroopam. Vishwaroopam was initially banned in Tamilnadu following protests from fringe groups. Upon its release, the film was welcomed with positive reviews. Vishwaroopam 2 features an ensemble cast including Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekhar Kapur, Rahul Bose and Waheeda Rahman. Shot simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi, the film is also dubbed in Telugu. The trailer of the film will be launched later today by Shruti Haasan (Tamil), Aamir Khan (Hindi) and Jr NTR (Telugu). Vishwaroopam 2 is also Kamal's first to be released after his entry into politics. Music is by Ghibran.
