Santhosh P Jayakumar and Gautham Karthik's previous movie Hara Hara Mahadevaki was a smashing hit and it was ah out and out adult comedy film. These kind of adult comedies are new to Tamil cinema so his first movie was into controversies. But in the aspects of business it is a new attempt and will appeal to youngsters, says actor Gautham Karthik. Gautham Karthik's Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kuthu (IAMK) is hitting the screens 4 May. Directed by Santosh P Jayakumar, it is an adult horror comedy. Certified with an A certificate, the movie is releasing in nearly 250 screens across Tamilnadu. Gautham Karthik and Vaibhavi Shandilya play lead roles. Shah Ra, Yaashika Aanand, Chandrika Ravi, Karunakaran, Rajendran, Bala and 'Jangiri' Madhumitha are also in the cast. Gautham says, 'It is not insulting women. It has enough to bring to light social taboos. Adult comedy need not be seen as a porn movie'. After Hara Hara Mahadevaki, I had no hesitation in accepting IAMK, he added. Santosh P jayakumar's Ghajinikanth starring Arya is also ready for release soon.
