Just two days back we reported about Anand L.Rai’s production venture Manmarziyan is underway and he is proud of bankrolling a good script. Unfortunately it turned out to take a break after many problems arose in the initial stages itself. The director Sameer Sharma had announced that they will soon resume the shooting after sorting out the issues.

When questioned about the reasons for it, he refused by saying that there are internal affairs and they couldn’t be shared in public. The producer is rather silent on this and there are rumours that Anand L.Rai may have some problems with the director’s work.

Starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Vicky Kaushal in the lead roles, it is a triangle love story set in the Punjabi backdrop. This romantic flick went on floors from January and a first look poster was released marking the same. Amit Trivedi of Shaandaar and Fitoor fame was roped in to compose tunes.

The makers were happy that they will make the film see the light on September 23. The first schedule of shooting was done at Shimla after which they shot in Punjab till March 21 and wrapped up incomplete leaving us puzzled so as to when it will be resumed.

Manmarziyan shooting halted: Issues between director & producer ?

Director Anand L.Rai who has not made any movies with the tops actors of Bollywood has fortunately bagged his next with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time. He is much excited to work with the Khan and shares that it gives him much responsibility.

The delight at the same time feeling the importance of having him on board makes the Raanjhanaa maker feel proud. They are actually collaborated for a different script that was indeed loved by the actor on hearing it. 

SRK is reported to play a dwarf in the film for the first time and it is a romantic story with good music tracks. Presently he is onto selecting the leading lady after which it may go on floors after Shah Rukh Khan completed with Raees.

Another notable point about Anand L.Rai is that he has turned producer for 3 movies, Nil Battey Sannata, Happy Bhaag Jayegi and Manmarziyan. All the three films seems to have interesting stories and he is likely to collaborate with another producer, might be the actor’s Red Chillies Entertainments in producing this SRK flick too.
