The release of "Raayan," starring, written, and directed by Dhanush, has been delayed. Originally set for June 13, the film by Sun Pictures will now come out on July 26. Besides Tamil, it will also be dubbed in Telugu and Hindi. 

The movie features a large cast including Prakash Raj, Kalidas Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Saravanan, and Dushara Vijayan. "Raayan" has been in post-production since last December. This news follows the release of the songs 'Adangaatha Asuran' and 'Water Packet'.

"Raayan" features music by AR Rahman, cinematography by Om Prakash, editing by Prasanna GK, stunts by Peter Hein, and dance choreography by Prabhu Deva and Baba Baskar.

Dhanush's upcoming films include the bilingual movie "Kubera," an Ilaiyaraaja biopic by Captain Miller's Arun Matheswaran, and "D 52" by Mari Selvaraj. He is also directing a film called "Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam" (NEEK) with a cast of new actors.

New Release Date Announced for Dhanush Movie "Raayan"

The team behind the movie Raayan, starring Dhanush, has revealed that the second song will come out on May 25. The poster for this announcement shows Aparna Balamurali and Sundeep Kishan. The new song in Raayan will be an energetic kuthu track. The first song from the film, 'Adangatha Asuran,' was released on May 9.

Besides Dhanush, the movie Raayan stars Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in important roles.

Raayan, directed by Dhanush and produced by Sun Pictures, finished filming in December last year. Now, it's in the final stages of editing and other post-production work.

The team also includes cinematographer Om Prakash, editor Prasanna GK, and action choreographer Peter Hein. Apart from Raayan, Dhanush has a busy schedule with other projects like Shekhar Kammula's Kubera, Mari Selvaraj's D 52, and directing Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam or NEEK, featuring new talents.

The movie is set to come out on June 13, 2024.

Raayan Second Single Release Date Announced

The makers of Dhanush's new movie "Raayan" released the first single, titled 'Adangatha Asuran', on Thursday. The song portrays the hero's strength and his goals, set against the backdrop of the Bhogi festival.

Dhanush and AR Rahman collaborated for the song 'Adangatha Asuran', which Dhanush wrote and sang. The music for the movie "Raayan" was composed by AR Rahman. The choreography for the song was done by Prabhu Deva.

The movie features Dhanush along with Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in important roles.

Directed by Dhanush and produced by Sun Pictures, the filming for "Raayan" concluded in December last year. Currently, the movie is in the post-production phase.

Other important members of the crew are Om Prakash as the cinematographer, Prasanna GK as the editor, and Peter Hein as the action choreographer.

The movie is scheduled to be released on June 13, 2024.
