The people behind Dhanush's 50th movie, now called Raayan, have been sharing lots of news about who will be in the film. Recently, Dhanush announced that actor Saravanan is also in the movie. He even showed Saravanan's character poster from Raayan.

Raayan is Dhanush's second movie as a director, following Pa Paandi (2017).
In one picture, Dhanush is wearing glasses and sitting on a chair in front of a house. He looks like he's playing a character who's in his 50s or 60s.

Apart from Dhanush, the movie also stars Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in important roles.

Filming for Raayan ended in December last year and it's now being worked on after filming.

The team behind the scenes includes music by AR Rahman, camera work by Om Prakash, editing by Prasanna GK, and action scenes planned by Peter Hein.

Saravanan Joins Dhanush Raayan Movie!

In a recent social media post, director Selvaraghavan announced that he's part of Dhanush's upcoming movie, Raayan. There were rumors that Selvaraghavan would be writing the script, but he clarified that this isn't true. 

Known for directing movies like Kaadhal Kondein (2003), 7G Rainbow Colony (2004), and Pudhupettai (2006), Selvaraghavan recently started his acting career in Vijay's latest movie, Beast. It's worth noting that Dhanush acted in Thulluvadho Ilamai, which was Selvaraghavan's directorial debut.

This is the first time Dhanush will direct his brother in Raayan. The movie also features Sundeep Kishan, who acted alongside Dhanush in Captain Miller, along with Kalidas Jayaram and SJ Suryah. AR Rahman will provide the music for Raayan, with Om Prakash as the cinematographer and Prasanna GK as the editor.

Raayan is expected to be released in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu languages across India at the same time. It marks the actor's 50th film in his career.


Selvaraghavan Joins Dhanush Raayan Movie Team

On Monday, Dhanush unveiled the first look poster of his 50th movie, formerly known as D50, now titled Raayan. In this film, Dhanush will also be directing and portraying the character named Raayan.

The first poster shows Dhanush wearing a dirty apron with blood on it and holding a sharp tool. Behind him, Kalidas Jayaram and Sundeep Kishan are seen holding knives with blood stains. It's said that SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, and Aparna Balamurali are also part of the movie, but the creators haven't confirmed this yet.

The team behind the scenes includes music by AR Rahman, cinematography by Om Prakash, editing by Prasanna GK, and action choreography by Peter Hein. Filming for D50 finished in December last year, and it's now in the final editing stage.

Sundeep Kishan Naidu is an Indian film actor known for his works primarily in Telugu films. He is best known for his role in the film Prasthanam (2010). Earlier he had assisted director Gautham Menon on Vaaranam Aayiram (2008). He sang "Cell Phone-lu Balance" song in the movie "Idega Asapaddav".
