The people making Ravi Teja's new movie, "Mr. Bachchan," gave an update. Jagapathi Babu is now part of the movie's cast.

"Mr. Bachchan," directed by Harish Shankar, is made by TG Vishwa Prasad from People Media Factory. They announced on their social media page that Jagapathi Babu has joined the cast for a strong role. They also mentioned that the movie has been filming for 50 days and 80% of the talking scenes are done.

"Mr. Bachchan" is the third movie where Ravi Teja works with director Harish Shankar. They previously worked together on "Shock" in 2006 and "Mirpakay" in 2011. Bhagyashri Borse, who is making her acting debut, will play the female lead in the movie.

Recently, Jagapathi Babu appeared in the movie "Family Star," starring Vijay Deverakonda, which came out on April 5th. Meanwhile, Ravi Teja was last seen in the action-packed drama "Eagle," directed by Karthik Gattamneni, which was released on February 9th.

Jagapathi Babu Joins Ravi Teja Movie 'Mr. Bachchan

Ravi Teja is teaming up again with his Shock (2006) director Hari Shankar for a new movie? Well, guess what? The movie now has a name – it's called "Mr Bachchan"! Ravi Teja shared a sneak peek of the movie by revealing its first look poster and said, "You must have heard the name Mr Bachchan." 

In the upcoming movie "Mr Bachchan," Bhagyashri Borse is taking on the lead female role, marking her debut in acting. The film is supported by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, with Vivek Kuchibhotla as the co-producer.

The storyline and the rest of the cast for "Mr Bachchan" are still a secret. This movie is Ravi Teja's third project with director Hari Shankar, following "Shock" and "Mirpakay" (2011).

Meanwhile, Ravi Teja is eagerly anticipating the release of "Eagle," another film backed by People Media Factory. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the movie will also be released in Hindi as "Sahadev" and is scheduled to hit theaters on January 13, 2024, for Sankranti.


First Look: Ravi Teja and Hari Shankar Reunite in "Mr. Bachchan"

The movie Eagle's official preview came out on Monday. It stars Ravi Teja, Anupama Parameswaran, and Kavya Thapar. Madhubala, Srinivas Avasarala, Navdeep, Praneeta Pattnaik, Ajay Ghosh, Srinivas Reddy, Bhasha, Siva Narayana, Mirchi Kiran, Nitin Mehta, Dhruva, Edward, Maddy, and Akshara are also in the film.

Kartik Ghattamneni wrote, directed, and edited the movie. He was also the cameraperson, along with Kamil Plocki and Karm Chawla. Manibabu Karanam helped write the movie, and Uthura and Raam Ravipati worked as co-editors and co-directors.

In the teaser, Ravi Teja's character delivers a strong message to his foes. He plays a well-known criminal wanted by the authorities. Not much is known about him, except that he is incredibly skilled at fighting. Throughout the movie, Ravi Teja will appear in different roles.

Eagle is created by TG Vishwa Prasad and co-created by Vivek Kuchibhotla under the People Media Factory company. Davzand is responsible for the music, and Srinagendra Tangala designed the production. Eagle is set to release in theaters on January 13.
