Prabhas and director Maruthi will reveal the title of their upcoming movie on Makara Sankranti. The film is named "The Raja Saab," and a first look poster was revealed at the same time on Monday morning. Prabhas plays the lead role in "The Raja Saab."

Malavika Mohanan, known for her role in "Master," will be the female lead in the film. This marks the first time they are paired together. "The Raja Saab" also marks Malavika's debut in Telugu cinema, as she primarily acts in Tamil and Malayalam films. 

Director Maruthi, recognized for movies like "Bus Stop" (2012), "Bhale Bhale Magadivoy" (2015), and "Shailaja Reddy Alludu" (2018), serves as both the writer and director for "The Raja Saab." His most recent work was directing the 2022 Gopichand starrer "Pakka Commercial."

"The Raja Saab" is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, with Vivek Kuchibhotla serving as the co-producer. Karthik Palani, known for his work in "French Biryani" and "Varisu," is the cinematographer, and editing is handled by Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao, who worked on "Mahanati" and the "Baahubali" movies. 

The production design is by Rajeevan, known for his work in "Nani's Gang Leader" and "Vakeel Saab." Thaman is the music composer for "The Raja Saab."

On Thursday, the creators of Vishnu Manchu's movie Kannappa revealed the first look poster. The poster shows the actor as Kannappa Nayanar, targeting an arrow at a water body resembling a Sivalingam. The tagline on the poster says, "The bravest warrior, the ultimate devotee."

Kannappa is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, and it's supported by Dr. Mohan Babu under the 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment banners. This mythological film has been in the works for seven years, including an eight-month thorough pre-production phase before starting filming.

Regarding the cast, there are reports suggesting that Prabhas and Mohanlal might be part of the film, but it hasn't been confirmed by the creators yet. Initially, Nupur Sanon was supposed to play the female lead in Kannappa, but due to scheduling conflicts, she had to step back from the project.

The technical team for Kannappa includes Vishnu Manchu as the writer, Sheldon Chau as the cinematographer, Stephan Devassy and Mani Sharma as the music composers, and Anthony Gonsalvez handling the editing.


Kannappa's First Look Poster Revealed

For Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan's 81st birthday, Vyjayanthi Movies, the company making the exciting movie Kalki 2898 AD directed by Nag Ashwin, revealed a picture of his character in the film.

The highly anticipated sci-fi movie called Kalki 2898 AD features a big group of actors, including Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, along with others.

Vyjayanthi Movies posted a picture of Amitabh Bachchan's character and said, "We're honored to be part of your journey and see your amazing talent. Happy Birthday, Amitabh Bachchan sir." 

Back in February 2020, they revealed the movie with the temporary name "Project K" to mark Vyjayanthi Movies' 50th anniversary. The official title and a sneak peek of this grand film were shown at San Diego Comic-Con. They started shooting in a cool futuristic set at Ramoji Film City in July 2021.

Nag Ashwin is in charge of directing the movie, and they say it cost about 600 crore rupees to make. The music is being done by Santhosh Narayanan. Kalki 2898 AD is set to come out on January 12, 2024.

Prabhas  is an Indian film actor known for his works in Telugu cinema. Prabhas is the nephew of veteran Telugu actor Krishnam Raju. Prabhas made his film debut with the 2002 drama film, Eshwar. His works include Varsham (2004), Chatrapathi (2005), Chakram (2005), Billa (2009), Mr. Perfect (2011), and Mirchi (2013). In 2014 he appeared in the Bollywood film Action Jackson directed by Prabhudeva.
