Rangam is the Telugu remake of Jiiva’s Tamil film Ko while Rangam 2 is the remake of the actor's another flick Yaan. Directed by Ravi K.Chandran, yet another cinematographer turned director like K.V.Anand, this flick is running in the post production stages to hit the screens by the second week of November. 

Bankrolled by AS Balaji, he shares that through this film Jiiva will be having an increased fan base in Telugu. Presently the dubbing works are going on and the audio launch is scheduled to take place by the end of this month. As known earlier, Thulasi Nair, sister of Karthika Nair and the second daughter of yesteryear actress Radha plays the female lead.

The other members of the cast includes Nasser, Jayaprakash and Urmila. Music has been scored by Harris Jayaraj and was well received in Tamil. The technical crew has A.Sreekar Prasad to edit the cuts, Manush Nandan to crank the camera while the Telugu dialogues are written by Sashank Vennelakanti and the song Lyrics are penned by Vennelakanti.
