A.L. Vijay last week release Lakshmi featuring Prabhu Deva is running in theatres. This movie focused on the dance skills and children's passion for dance. Now, A.L. Vijay is ready with his next movie. Vijay has been stated to work on the biopic of late Tamil Nadu CM, Jayalalitha in association with the bankrolling of ‘VIBRI Media’. Expected to start rolling up this epic biopic on the birthday of Jayalalitha i.e., February 24th, the first look of this movie is said to be sneaked out on the same day in 2019.

So many rumours and doubts of whether Vijay is going to handle direction for this biopic, there is another rumour that Vijay has almost silently finished the shooting of G V Prakash movie as a protagonist which is titled as ‘Watchman’. Having no female lead, this must be G V Prakash's first movie without a heroine. Usually, G V Prakash's movie stories always revolve around heroines but this has interested everyone in K Town.

G V Prakash will be seen travelling with a dog throughout this movie. Working on a bunch of projects already like ‘Ayngaran’, ‘4G’, ‘Kuppathu Raja’, ‘Rettai Kombu’, ‘100% Kadhal’, ‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’ and ‘Jail’, G V is eagerly waiting for the release of ‘Adangathey’. Previously working with G V as a music director in his movies, this is stated to be the first time to direct him for the lead role. Further, the official announcement about this movie is yet to be confirmed soon.

Former Chief Minister Ms. J Jayalalitha has always been a controversial figure in the political history and she is also considered to be on powerful leader in Tamil Nadu as she had mass followers and cadres in her party. After her sad demise there has always been a constant talk in the film industry that her life history should be made as a biopic. And several actresses names were thrown in to be cast as J Jayalalitha and the most prefered name was Ramya Krishnan but nothing has been confirmed.

Director A L Vijay has raised his hands to direct this biopic. Stating that ‘VIBRI MEDIA’ which is right now producing the movie with the character of famous Indian cricketer Kapil Dev reprised by Ranveer Singh and reciting the incidents of ‘83rd World Cup’ and ‘NTR’s Biopic’ starring Balakrishna, this production banner headed by Brinda Prasad is stated to rope in for this biopic. To start up with rolling this movie, the team is slated to begin the shoot and release the first look of this movie on February 24th on the occasion of Jayalalitha’s birthday.

A. L Vijay is an Indian film director of the Tamil film industry. A disciple of Priyadarshan, he debuted as director with films like Kireedam and critically acclaimed Madrasapattinam. Vijay later directed big budget films Deiva Thirumagal and Thaandavam, starring Vikram in both films. His father A. L. Azhagappan was the President of Tamil Nadu Producers Council and appeared in the film Eesan. His brother Udhaya has also starred in Tamil films.
