The untitled next flick by the Siruthai director Siva for Ajith will have two heroines: Shruti Haasan as the lead lady and Lakshmi Menon as Ajith’s sister. There are many speculations that Thala will do a character similar to Rajini in Baasha. In agreement to that, recently a daily national newspaper at Kolkata showed a picture of the shooting where Ajith was dressed as a cab driver and Shruti as a lawyer.

The shooting started on May 7 is advancing fast and reaching the end of last schedule in Kolkata. Previously massive sets similar to the regions of Kolkata was erected in Chennai and shot. The first schedule finished the scenes with Ajith and Lakshmi Menon. A still of Shruti running in the court premises in a lawyer outfit has been viral in social media sites.

The movie is produced by A.M.Rathnam who produced Yennai Arindhaal. Music is composed by Anirudh and it is expected to be join the Diwali race.

Thala 56 story exposed

Ajith’s 56th film is to be directed by Siva after their successful combination in Veeram and the Music is by Anirudh. The Sony Music Entertainment had bought the audio rights of the movie and are very much excited about Thala-Anirudh combination. The movie stars Shruti Haasan, sources say after a long decision made whether Hansika or Tamannaah or Shruti. Lakshmi Menon stars as the sister of Thala opposite to Ashwin Kakumanu, who had done the police role in Mankatha. 

The official name of the movie is not yet released and called now as ‘Thala 56’ itself. Yet talks are that it will be named as Achchamillai. The shooting is going on at Binny Mills at Chennai and some parts of Kolkata. The role of Ajith in this movie seems to be taxi driver.
