Jayam Ravi, a versatile Tamil actor, is eagerly anticipating the release of his highly anticipated project 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'. The upcoming movie 'Siren' is a thriller that features Jayam Ravi as a prisoner and Keerthy Suresh as a police officer. Directed by Antony Bhagyaraj, the film also stars Anupama Parameshwaran as Ravi's romantic interest. Recent reports reveal that the movie's production team is currently shooting the marriage scenes of Jayam Ravi and Anupama in Karaikal.

This movie choreographed by dance master Brindha is currently underway for the movie 'Siren'. The musical score for the film is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. After Jayam Ravi will complete this filming schedule and join the promotional activities for 'Ponniyin Selvan 2'.

The 1992 superior film Mannan starring Superstar alongside Kushboo and Goundamani is on talks by the Kollywood makers to be remade. P.Vasu who had helmed the original version is currently working with Raghava Lawrence for their upcoming horror flick Shivalinga. Sources suggest that Vasu had made his initial talks to Lawrence at the Shivalinga sets on the remake.

Interestingly there is another surprise awaiting for the tinsel town. Vadivelu who is playing a supporting role in the Lawrence starrer is likely to reprise the role played by Goundamani. Rajinikanth - Goundamani duo was praised very much in Mannan and this new duo is going to become the latest sensation of the Kollywood.

As for the leading lady, the makers are onto finalising a popular face and the official announcement of the project is expected shortly. Meanwhile the post production works for Shivalinga is progressing at a brisk pace with the release date slated for January 26. Ritika Singh has paired with the dancer cum actor for the first time and the movie also has Shakthi Vasu playing a pivotal role.

Vijayashanti is an Indian film actress and a politician from the state of Telangana. Prior to joining politics in 2004, she has acted in over 186 movies in seven languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
