Back in March, we mentioned that the creators of the Dhanush-led movie Kubera were filming in Bangkok for an extended period. Now, they've started a new filming session in Mumbai.

Kubera is directed by filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, known for hits like Happy Days (2007) and Fidaa (2016). Sekhar, along with Chaithanya Pingali, has penned the script.

Apart from Dhanush, the main cast of Kubera includes actors such as Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bollywood's Jim Sarbh. The music for the movie will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Niketh Bommi is in charge of the cinematography. Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre are working as production designers.

Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are producing the movie under their company Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, along with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Kubera was officially started in July 2023, and we revealed the first look and title of the film in February this year.

Kubera Team Starts Filming in Mumbai

Dhanush is teaming up with Fidaa director Sekhar Kammula for a Telugu movie named Kubera. The Kubera team has just started filming their movie in Bangkok with a new schedule.

Some days back, the creators of Kubera revealed the first glimpse and title of their movie. Alongside Dhanush, the main cast of Kubera features actors such as Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bollywood star Jim Sarbh.

Director Sekhar, along with Chaithanya Pingali, has penned the script. Devi Sri Prasad, who recently marked 25 years in the film industry, serves as the movie's music director, and Niketh Bommi is the cinematographer. Additionally, Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre are the production designers.

The film is being produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under their banner Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, in collaboration with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd.

Kubera, starring Dhanush, has started filming in Bangkok.

We told you before that Director Sekhar Kammula is making a new movie with Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna. Now, they've started making the movie with a special ceremony and begun the main filming.

The new movie, which we'll call #DNS for now, features actors Dhanush and Nagarjuna, and it's directed by Sekhar Kammula. Sekhar, known for his romantic movies like Fidaa and Love Story, is venturing into something new with #DNS, and they're spending a lot on it. 

Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are producing it under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, along with Sekhar Kammula's Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Sonali Narang is presenting the film. 

The people creating the movie will soon tell us about the other actors and workers. Niketh Bommi, who took pictures for movies like Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi (2018), Soorarai Pottru (2020), and Ante Sundaraniki (2022), is the person in charge of filming for #DNS. Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre are designing how the movie will look.

Dhanush Begins Filming with Director Sekhar Kammula

Sekhar Kammula is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer, known for his works exclusively in Telugu cinema. His first film, Dollar Dreams was a critical success, and won him the National Film Award for best debutant director. He won 2 Filmfare Awards & 6 Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards. Sekhar was among the director's delegation to represent Indian Cinema at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. Sekhar Kammula is making his Bollywood debut with the film Salman Khan.
