On Wednesday, the creators of Charlie's new movie, Finder, revealed its release date. This thriller, based on a true story, is scheduled to hit theaters on April 19th.

Finder is both written and directed by Vinoth Rajendran. Vinoth has previously directed movies such as the romantic drama Ilamai Enum Poongatru and the action drama Patra Vaitha Nerupondru.

Finder takes place in Chennai and tells a true story about an organization that helps innocent people who have been wrongly imprisoned in the United States for a long time. The organization works hard to prove their innocence and get them compensation from the government.

Director Vinoth will have a significant role in the movie, alongside Abhilash, Gopinath, Shankar, and Prana. Finder is funded by Arabi Pictures and Viyan Ventures, with music composed by Surya Prasadh R. The technical team includes Prasath Vellayangiri, Tamil Kumaresan, SK Ajay, and Vishal Varshan.

In the motion poster, the initial scene portrays two characters disposing of a body in the sea. Subsequently, the audience is introduced to various characters through flipping pages of a book. Nizhalgal Ravi takes on the role of advocate Dhayalan, while Sendraayan is introduced as Raayan. The lead actor, Charlie, portrays the prime suspect, Peter.

In addition to directing the film, Vinoth will also be playing a significant role in "Finder," alongside Abhilash, Gopinath, Shankar, and Prana.

"Finder" is based on a true story and is set in the backdrop of Chennai. The movie revolves around an organization that works to locate and help individuals who have been wrongly imprisoned for crimes they did not commit in the United States. This organization puts in efforts to prove their innocence and obtain rightful compensation from the government.

The filming of "Finder" has been completed, with shooting taking place in Chennai and its surrounding areas. Produced by Arabi Productions, the release date for the film is yet to be announced.
