Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Puli directed by Chimbu Devan and touted to be an action is all set to release its audio on August 2nd at Confluence Maitri Hall, ECR. Many of the leading actors are also set to be present on the occasion. 

Devi Sri Prasad, Shruti Haasan and Hansika who are also very prominent in Telugu has raised up the expectations of Telugu fans too. It is also expected that Puli will be the second biggest hit for Vijay post the success of Jilla in Andhra. In line with this, Telugu Superstars Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu are planned to attend the grand event. 

The promo of a single track called Yendi Yendi was released few days back and has gone viral. The song was sung by Vijay and Shruti and is anticipated to be a chartbuster of the year. Puli is made with around 200 crores and the most expensive movie for Vijay with many people looking forward for it.

Similar to the dubbed release of Kaththi in Telugu, Ilayathalapathy’s Puli is planned to be released in Hindi and Telugu. The first look poster has been released in both the languages that gives a stunning look of Vijay, Sudeep and Sridevi. Its first look teaser released on June 22nd in Tamil has crossed 5 million views recently. 

Starring Vijay, Hansika, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Sudeep, Vijayakumar and Vidyullekha Raman in the lead and supporting roles, Puli is an action-adventure directed by Chimbu Devan. Music will be tuned by Devi Sri Prasad. Initially Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were said to have female leads but later replaced by Hansika and Shruti.

Made with 118 crores, the release date is not yet confirmed by the filmmakers. The producers, Shibu Thameens and PT Selvakumar are happy that the movie is getting exciting offers for the Telugu distribution rights after the buzz created due to the release of teaser. The Kerala, Karnataka and overseas distribution rights as well as the satellite rights all have been sold for a record price.

Ilayathalapathy’s Puli has been shot completely and the first look, teaser were released in the past few days. Within 3 days of release the views crossed 3 million in YouTube. The fans have been so much excited in the warrior role that Vijay has taken.

At this stage, the director Chimbudevan seems to be dissatisfied with the graphics part and wishes to redo it once again. So the movie’s release is likely to be delayed. On the fans side, the release of Puli has been very much expected since the movie Kaththi. But as there is a correction to be made in the making of it, they have decided to wait even till Diwali so that Puli makes a flawless success.
