We know that director AR Murugadoss is working with actor Sivakarthikeyan on a new movie. The latest news is that they've started filming the second part of the movie.

The upcoming movie, which doesn't have a title yet, features Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead. She's well-known for her role alongside Rakshit Shetty in Hemanth M. Rao's Sapta Saagaradaache Ello films.

Sivakarthikeyan's next movie will be his 23rd. It's worth mentioning that this will be his first time working with director Murugadoss, although Murugadoss had previously written Sivakarthikeyan's sports-comedy film "Maan Karate," which was directed by Krish Thirukumaran.

AR Murugadoss and Sivakarthikeyan begin filming the second part of SK23.

Actress Rukmini Vasanth will be in a new movie by AR Murugadoss. Sivakarthikeyan will star in it. This movie will be Sivakarthikeyan's 23rd film and his first with Murugadoss. Before, Murugadoss wrote the story for Sivakarthikeyan's sports-comedy film Maan Karate, which was directed by his former assistant Krish Thirukumaran.

The director used his X account to share the official news and photos of the cast and crew after they held a traditional ceremony before starting filming. He said, "I'm very happy to have these amazing and talented people working with us. Together, we're creating something special." In the photos, we see that music composer Anirudh Ravichander, editor Sreekar Prasad, and stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan are part of the technical team.

Sivakarthikeyan shared the news about the project with Murugadoss on social media on the director's birthday last September.

Sivakarthikeyan's latest movie was the science-fiction film Ayalaan, which was his 20th film. Meanwhile, Rukmini gained fame for her main role opposite Rakshit Shetty in Hemanth M. Rao's Sapta Saagaradaache Ello films.


Rukmini Vasanth joins new movie by AR Murugadoss with Sivakarthikeyan, film shooting starts

Everybody knows that Sivakarthikeyan is working with director Rajkumar Periasamy for his 21st movie, which they're calling SK21 for now. Even though they haven't shared many details about the film, Raaj Kamal Films International revealed that they'll release a teaser with the title on February 16th at 5 pm.

Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran's production company also shared a video. It showed Sivakarthikeyan working really hard to prepare for his role in SK21. He did things like training with guns and doing tough exercises to get in shape.

Sai Pallavi will be the main actress in SK21. The movie will also have Amritha Ram designing the costumes, Stefan Richter managing the action scenes, and Kalaivanan R editing it. The music will be done by GV Prakash. 

Besides RKFI, Sony Pictures International Productions is also helping to make the film. Netflix said they'll have the rights to show the movie after it's been in theaters.
