Yesterday, the director Desingh Periyasamy shared pictures on his Instagram like he is talking with actor Silambarasan. Both seem very engaged in discussing their new movie, but the title is not decided yet, and tentatively it is "STR 48" for now.

This movie is supported by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran through their company, Raaj Kamal Films International.

This is the second movie directed by Desingh, who made "Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal" before. It's also the first time that Silambarasan is working with this director and for the RKFI production company. However, they haven't announced yet who is going to be acting in this movie, the technical crew, music, and editing.


Desingh Periyasamy Reveals New Details About STR 48

Actor Silambarasan's upcoming project, tentatively titled STR 48, will be directed by Desingh Periyasamy. Exciting news arrived on Monday as the film's makers officially declared that production has commenced. This yet-to-be-titled film is supported by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International.

Taking to Twitter, Simbu shared photos alongside Kamal Haasan and director Desingh, captioning it as "Blood And Battle Rages!" This is Desingh Periyasamy’s second directorial venture after ‘Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal’ and this is the first-ever collaboration between Silambarasan and the filmmaker, as well as their association with the RKFI banner.

The makers are yet to announce the details regarding the rest of the cast and crew. Stay tuned!
