Before the movie hits theaters, the creators of "Family Star," starring Vijay Deverakonda, released the official trailer on Thursday. Directed by Parasuram Petla, "Family Star" will be in theaters from April 5th.

The trailer introduces Vijay as a caring and traditional man who prioritizes his family's welfare. However, his approach clashes with his wife's views, causing tension in their marriage. As unexpected challenges arise, Vijay must step up as the "Family Star" to resolve conflicts and safeguard his loved ones.

Vijay and Mrunal are teaming up for the first time in "Family Star." However, this marks Vijay's second collaboration with director Parasuram, as they previously worked together on the 2018 film "Geetha Govindham." The supporting cast of the film includes actors like Vennela Kishore, Jagapathi Babu, and Rohini Hattangadi.

The film's cinematography is handled by KU Mohanan, known for shooting hit movies like "Don" (2006), "Talaash" (2012), and "Andhadhun" (2018). Editing is overseen by Marthand K Venkatesh, while AS Prakash serves as the art director. Gopi Sundar is the music director for the film.

"Family Star" is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.

Vijay Deverakonda Family Star Trailer Out Now!

The official teaser for Family Star was revealed on Monday. It was supposed to come out in the evening, but there were technical problems, so it got delayed by a few hours. Family Star is written and directed by Parsuram, who also directed Sarkaru Vaari Paata in 2022 with Mahesh Babu and Keerthy Suresh. 

This movie marks the second time Vijay Devarakonda has teamed up with Parsuram after their 2018 film Geetha Govindam.

Also joining the team is music composer Gopi Sundar, who will be creating the music for Family Star. This movie also marks the first time actors Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Devarakonda are working together. Family Star is Mrunal's third movie, following Sita Ramam and Hi Nanna.

Family Star is made by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. KU Mohanan is in charge of the movie's camera work, with Marthand K Venkatesh handling the editing and AS Prakash overseeing the production design. Originally planned for Sankranti 2024, the movie will now premiere in theaters on April 5th.

The teaser for Family Star will be released on March 4. The movie's creators announced this on Saturday. Family Star is written and directed by Parsuram Petla and stars Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur. Vijay's last movie was "Kushi," while Mrunal appeared in "Hi Nanna" with Nani, which was released in late 2023.

Before, Vijay and Parsuram collaborated on "Geetha Govindam" in 2018, which also featured Rashmika Mandanna. Rashmika will have a special role in Family Star. Parsuram last directed the Mahesh Babu movie "Sarkaru Vaari Paata" in 2022. Family Star is set to release in theaters on April 5.

The movie creators just released the first song 'Nandanandanaa'. Gopi Sundar, who also composed music for Geetha Govindam, is the music director for Family Star.

Mrunal Thakur is an Indian actress and model who appears in Marathi movies and Indian soap operas. She is known for her role as Bulbul in Kumkum Bhagya. She has played the lead role in Tabrez Noorani and David Womark's 2018 film Love Sonia.

She was born in a Marathi Hindu family. She has two siblings, an elder sister Lochan and a younger brother. She completed, TYBMM (Journalism) from K. C. College.
