The team behind Pushpa 2: The Rule dropped their debut song, 'Pushpa Pushpa', on Wednesday. This movie is the official follow-up to the 2021 action-packed film Pushpa: The Rise, which starred Allu Arjun.

'Pushpa Pushpa', sung by Nakash Aziz and Deepak Blue, is a lively song that serves as a cool introduction for the main character, Pushpa (played by Allu Arjun). The song features a repeated chant of Pushpa's name, giving it a powerful and mesmerizing vibe. The energetic music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad, with lyrics by Chandrabose.

In addition to Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2: The Rule features Fahaadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna, who are playing the same roles they did in the 2021 film. Sukumar, who directed Pushpa: The Rise, is both the writer and director for this sequel. Miroslaw Kuba Brozek is handling the cinematography, while Karthika Srinivas and Ruben are in charge of editing.

Produced together by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Pushpa 2: The Rule is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 15th.

The creators of Pushpa 2 launched their first song, 'Pushpa Pushpa'

Back in March, we mentioned that the creators of the Dhanush-led movie Kubera were filming in Bangkok for an extended period. Now, they've started a new filming session in Mumbai.

Kubera is directed by filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, known for hits like Happy Days (2007) and Fidaa (2016). Sekhar, along with Chaithanya Pingali, has penned the script.

Apart from Dhanush, the main cast of Kubera includes actors such as Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bollywood's Jim Sarbh. The music for the movie will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Niketh Bommi is in charge of the cinematography. Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre are working as production designers.

Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are producing the movie under their company Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, along with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Kubera was officially started in July 2023, and we revealed the first look and title of the film in February this year.

Kubera Team Starts Filming in Mumbai

The makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule unveiled their official teaser, on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday. Pushpa 2, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahaadh Faasil in key parts.

The teaser starts with cool shots of the main character (Allu Arjun), slowly showing Pushpa in a god-like appearance, wearing a saree and bold face paint. It also shows Pushpa holding a conch shell in a dramatic way. The teaser ends with Pushpa fighting some bad guys and striking a stylish pose.

Sukumar, who directed Pushpa: The Rise (2021), is also the writer and director for the sequel. Devi Sri Prasad is back as the music director, following his successful soundtrack for the 2021 film. The cinematography is by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek, and editing is done by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben.

Pushpa 2: The Rule, produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni for Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, is scheduled for a theatrical release on August 15th.
