Aruvi directed by debutant Arun Prabhu, was widely appreciated by the critics and audience was last year's one of the biggest blockbusters. There was no noise about his next movie. But now, Arun Prabha has joined with R D Raja’s 24 AM Studios for a movie. Sources say Arun Prabhu is planning to rope in a young hero and a relatively a newcomer heroine for the lead. The movie went on floors a few days ago.

Pradeep Kumar will compose the music for the film, while Raymond Derrick Crasta will take care of the editing. Pradeep made his debut as a music composer with Meyaadha Maan, while Raymond debuted with Aruvi.

It is learnt that he spoke to director Arun Prabhu Purushothaman nearly for 20 minutes continuously about the great making and theme of this film saying, “This is a film that made me laugh at places, cry and even think much deeper about certain things in life. This film will definitely keep you under spotlights for many years to come.”

Aruvi traverses through the life of a rebellious girl named Aruvi, who goes on making some highly turbulent acts. The film is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures.
