Dangal, the last best release of 2016 has been recreating records by entering the coveted 100 crore club in just 3 days. The opening day collection was phenomenal and the amount has been raising since the forthcoming days. The positive word of mouth in the tinsel town has paved way for its historical success. The latest news is that it has made its entry to the 300 crore club on its 13th day of release.

Few Bollywood movies like PK, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan were the ones who made it previously and Dangal becomes the fourth film to garner such a whooping amount. Also this is the second entry for Aamir Khan after PK, however Dangal has not crossed the overall collection of PK as yet. Dangal also holds the prestigious title for being the highest grossing film of the year 2016 surpassing Sultan.

Further PK made its entry to 300 crore club in 17 days but Dangal had it in 13th day becoming the fastest achiever. The efforts of the leading actors are said to have reaped sweet fruits and specially for Aamir who has bankrolled this flick under his home banner. He is currently holidaying with his family abroad for the New Year and also taking break before kickstarting his next.

Aamir Khan's Dangal enters 300 crore club !!

Aamir Khan's much awaited Dangal finally opened to screens on December 23 with the movie entering the 100 crore club in just 3 days. The actor's hardwork and dedication into the making of this film is said to have reaped a good fruit. The Christmas weekend was not occupied with any other releases though Ranveer Singh's Befikre released two weeks back.

This wrestling biopic was released in Hindi as well as in Tamil and Telugu in the dubbed versions. In Chennai alone, it earned 1 crores and the global collection on Sunday was 42.35 crores. Dangal garnered 106.95 crores in total in the opening weekend becoming the fifth Aamir Khan starrer to join the coveted 100 crore club. 

His other movies include Ghajini, Three Idiots, Dhoom 3 and PK prior to this. The performances of the Phogat sisters Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra were overwhelming at the box office. Dangal has also become the biggest opening weekend ever for Aamir and has been well received especially in the Punjab regions due to the Haryani backdrop.
