It's widely known that Vaibhav will be the main star in his upcoming movie called "Chennai City Gangsters." The comedy film features Athulya Ravi as the female lead. Although the first look and title were revealed last year, the creators have now unveiled the motion poster and the second look of the film.

The movie will be directed by Vikram Rajeshwar and Arun Keshav, marking their first time directing a film. Both of them have prior experience directing advertisements. 

In addition to Vaibhav and Athulya, the cast of "Chennai City Gangsters" includes Anandraj, Rajendran, John Vijay, Redin Kingsley, Sunil Reddy, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, and more in supporting roles.

The team behind the scenes includes D Imman composing the music, with Tijo Tomy as the cinematographer and Suresh A Prasad as the editor. Arun Shankar Durai is handling art direction, and Don Ashok is in charge of stunts. The movie is produced by Bobby Balachandran under BTG Universal. The release date for the film has not been announced yet.

Vaibhav Chennai City Gangsters Movie releases motion poster

On Saturday, the creators of Sathish's movie "Vithaikkaran" revealed that the film, originally planned for release on February 16, will now premiere on February 23. The movie is written and directed by Venki.

In addition to Sathish, "Vithaikkaran" features Simran Gupta, Anandraj, Madhusudhan, Subramaniam Siva, John Vijay, Pavel Navageethan, Japan Kumar, and more.


Vijay Pandi from White Carpet Films supports the movie. VBR created the music, while Yuva Karthick and Arul E Siddharth managed the cinematography and editing, respectively.


New release date announced for Sathish movie "Vithaikkaran"


We told you before that Vaibhav, from the movie Buffoon in 2022, will be in a new funny Tamil movie with Athulya Ravi. Now, they named the movie "Chennai City Gangsters." It's a nod to a song sung by Anirudh in the movie Vanakkam Chennai (2013).

Vikram Rajeshwar and Arun Keshav, who are new to directing movies but have experience in making ads, will lead the film. Vikram is the son of K Rajeshwar, a writer and director known for his work in movies like Kadalora Kavidhaigal, Paneer Pushpangal, Seevelaperi Pandi, Vetri Vizha, and more.

In addition to Vaibhav and Athulya, Chennai City Gangsters features actors like Anandraj, Rajendran, John Vijay, Redin Kingsley, Sunil Reddy, Ilavarasu, PL Thenappan, and more in supporting roles.

What's interesting is that this movie will be the first time Vaibhav and Sunil, who are brothers, will be acting together.

The team working on the film includes D Imman for music, Tijo Tomy as the cinematographer, Suresh A Prasad as the editor, Arun Shankar Durai handling art direction, and stunts managed by Don Ashok. The film is produced by Bobby Balachandran under the banner of BTG Universal.
