Vijay Antony, the music director turned actor has been giving blockbuster hits from his debut film ‘Naan’ till the recent hit flick ‘Saithan’. He is choosy when selecting the scripts for his film. He has essayed a powerful role as the major Political influence in the film.

Thiagarajan’s horror flick won positive reviews and won accolades for his direction. He was last seen in a different role ‘Drohi’ in the year 2010, directed by Sudha Kongara. His next film ‘Vaaimai’ in the year 2016 inspired from the Hollywood flick ‘Twelve Angry men’ saw many actors who made a comeback with this film including Thiagarajan.

Thiagarajan has been the director for many notable films. He made a remake of his film ‘Malayur Mambattiyan’ as ‘Mambattiyan’ casting his son, actor Prashanth as the lead actor. He even directed ‘Ponnar Shankar’ based on the epic ‘Ponnar Shankar’ written by Kalaignar M Karunanidhi, portraying Prashanth in a dual role. The film won positive reviews for its war sequences and it was highly appreciated. Prashanth’s stunts and the avoidance of difficult Tamil dialogues for easy understanding of the epic were also applauded by the critics and the audiences.
