Prabhu Solomon who is ready to start Kumki 2 movies third schedule this month. The sequel to Prabhu Solomon's 2012 blockbuster Kumki starring Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon, Kumki-2.. Usually Prabhu Solomon join hands with D Imman, but now he has chosen a different music composer for the project the young and upcoming music director Nivas K Prasanna, who will compose songs for Kumki 2.

Thegidi fame Nivas will be working with Prabhu Solomon for the first time and Kumki 2 will be his fourth movie after Thegidi, Sethupathi and Zero. While Kumki marked the debut of Vikram Prabhu and it was the second movie for Lakshmi Menon, Kumki 2 will have debutantes playing the lead roles, as reported earlier. Speaking about this, Prabhu Solomon said, 'Usually sequels would be the extension or continuation to the first part. But, this has a separate storyline. Since this crux is also about the relationship between an elephant and its master, we have named it as Kumki-2.'

The movie will be star newcomer Mathiyazhagan in the lead role. The heroine is yet to be confirmed Prabhu Solomon said and added that the crew has been struggling a lot to involve elephants in the movie. The film is produced by Pen India Limited, Jayantilal Gada and Sukumar handles the camera.

Prabhu Solomon's Kumki - 2 is a sequel or not?

Director Prabhu Solomon has been trying to make his niext film ‘Kumki 2’ and His usual music composer is not included in this project for various reasons. D Imman is replaced by Nivas K Prasanna. He is very keen in cutting the cost, as he suffered a loss in his previous movie ‘Thodari’.

Director Prabhu Solomon’s next film is the sequel to his hit film, ‘Kumki’. It was said that ‘Kumki 2’ will be shot in exotic locations across the globe and that the male leads will predominantly be fresh faces.

Sources say that, Prabhu Solomon has roped in ‘Pattathari’ fame actress Adhithi as the female lead for ‘Kumki 2’. Another interesting fact we hear is that, Kumki 2 is not about elephants. Sources say that, it could be about horses just as how ‘Kumki’ revolved around elephants.
