Arun Vijay and Director Kris Thirukumaran Team Up for Arun's 36th Movie, 'Retta Thala'. The Filming Has Begun!

Reports say Arun Vijay will play two characters in the movie. 'Retta Thala' is said to be full of action and suspense. It's produced by Bobby Balachandran from BTG Universal. Thirukumaran, who directed Sivakarthikeyan's 'Maan Karate' (2014) and Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Gethu' (2016), is the director.

Siddhi Idhani, known for her role in 'Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu', will be the main female character. Also, Tanya Ravichandran will have a big role, and Yogesh, a well-known actor from Kannada movies, will play the villain in 'Retta Thala', his first Tamil film.

The team behind 'Retta Thala' includes Sam CS as the music director, Tijo Tomy as the cinematographer, Anthony as the editor, and Anbariv as the stunt choreographers. The release date of the movie hasn't been announced yet.

Arun Vijay Starts Filming 'Retta Thala'

Actor Arun Vijay, currently in post-production for Vanangaan, is set to collaborate with director Thirukumaran for his 36th film.

The formal launch of Arun Vijay 36 took place with a ceremony in Chennai on Thursday.

Thirukumaran, known for directing Sivakarthikeyan's Maan Karate and Udhayanidhi Stalin's Gethu, mentioned that the upcoming movie would mark a significant moment in Arun Vijay's career, similar to how Maan Karate was for Sivakarthikeyan. The film is described as an action thriller.

Siddhi Idnani, known for Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu, will star alongside Arun Vijay in addition to Tanya Ravichandran, who plays a significant role. Kannada actor Yogesh will portray the antagonist in his debut Tamil film.

The technical team of AV 36, produced by BTG Universal, includes music composer Sam CS, cinematographer Tijo Tomy, editor Anthony, and stunt choreographers AnbAriv.

Arun Vijay Teams Up with Thirukumaran for His 36th Movie

On Saturday, the people who created 'Idi Minnal Kadhal' showed the teaser for the movie. Ciby and Bhavya Trikha are the main actors. Balaji Madhavan wrote and directed the movie, with Anandh Kumaresan helping with the dialogues.

The teaser reveals that Ciby and Bhavya play a couple facing some problems. It hints at a murder investigation involving Bhavya at a police station. The movie offers a mix of thriller, romance, and other exciting elements.

In addition to Ciby and Bhavya, 'Idi Minnal Kadhal' features Radha Ravi, Balaji Sakthivel, Jay Adithya, Jagan, Vincent Nakul, Manoj Mullath, Mona Bedre, Anusha, Sri Ram, Somu, Sivaraj, Ruthru, and Yasmin Ponappa, who returns to the screen after 'Aaranya Kandam'.

The team behind 'Idi Minnal Kadhal' includes cinematographer Jayachander Pinnamneni, editor Anthony, and music director Sam C S. The movie is supported by Jayachander Pinnamneni and Balaji Madhavan under Pavaki Entertainment.

'Idi Minnal Kadhal' is scheduled to release in theaters on March 29.
