Gopi Kanth

Art director Gopikanth (a.k.a) G.K has worked with Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Ajith, and many leading artist in Tamil cinema over a 200 movies. He was hospitalized recently in a private hospital in Chennai when he became sick. He could not be saved by the doctors because his health was depleting and he passed away last night. G.K is 60, surviving with his wife Nageshwari and his children Hema and Krishnakanth.  

G.K has not only been as an Art director he has been acting in Television soaps. His funeral is happening in his home at Chennai were lot of celebrities and people have been visiting to pay their last tribute to G.K. He will be cremated today at 4 P.M. at porur cremation ground. G.K’s loss is not only a loss to Tamil cinema but also to Tamil television industry.
