Here is the much awaited official theme song "We Will Rise", from the movie Veeram.

Veeram is an upcoming Indian epic period drama film, directed by Jayaraj starring Kunal Kapoor, Divinaa Thackur, Himarsha Venkatsamy, Fakira (Ahran Chaudhary) and Shivajith Nambiar. It is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play, Macbeth, and is the fifth instalment in Jayaraj's Navarasa series.

The BRICS Film Festival is going to be conducted for the first time at Siri Fort, New Delhi between September 2 to 6, 2016 and one among the acclaimed films which got entry to it is Veeram starring Kunal Kapoor. The actor stunned the tinsel town last week by releasing the first look of the film. Now the movie has entered the prestigious film fest before it's theatrical release.

Directed by Jayaraj Nair who has won the National Award six times, this feat goes to the sheer hard work of the team and indeed they deserve it. The movie's story revolves around the warrior Chandu based out of the North Malabar region in Kerala. The story is a period drama set in the 13th century and focuses mostly on the ancient traditions in Kerala.

The director also shares that the plot is an adaptation from Shakespeare's Macbeth about the rise and fall of the warrior. The movie is made in three languages, Hindi, Malayalam and English while there are plans by the makers to dub it in Tamil and Telugu. The team is planning to release the film later this year in a grand manner in all these 5 languages.

 Kunal Kapoor's Veeram goes to BRICS Film Festival

Kunal Kapoor's upcoming flick directed by the National Award winning director Jayaraj Nair has got the title Veeram. The first look poster of it was unveiled by the actor in his Twitter handle which shows him as a warrior. Produced by Chandramohan Pillai and Pradeep Rajan of Chandrakala Arts, the film is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's classic story Macbeth.

The plot revolves around the martial arts warrior based in the Northern Malabar regions of Kerala in the year 1400. It revolves around the real life of the infamous warrior Chanthu Chekavar. Kunal had bulked up his body to look courageous and even has grown a ponytail. He will be doing some of the breathtaking action sequences in this film.

The release of the first look has stirred much curiosity among the tinsel town and everyone is expecting the release of the film soon. Several notable celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Dia Mirza, Abhishek Bachchan and Neil Nitin Mukesh in the Bollywood town has also heaped wishes for Kunal in their Twitter spaces. This epic saga is made in three languages, Malayalam, Hindi and English.
