Director Anurag Kashyap also decided to make a movie on this psychpathic killer starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead.

The critically acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap is onto making a movie on the psychopathic serial killer Raman Raghav. Previously titled as Raman Raghav 2, the director has roped in Nawazuddin Siddiqui to do the lead.

A recent change in the title was made by the director as RR2 as a short film is about to be released prior to this flick. The short film is a documentary made by Sriram Raghavan for 70 minutes that features Raghubir Yadav in the male lead.

Though both the movies are about the same person, it will give a different perspective about the killer. Anurag is trying to make it in a small budget and shooting is almost completed within 20 days. The post production works will be finished by January and it will go for Cannes Film Festival before theatrical release.
